Just announced is that Clalit Health Services will implement Imprivata OneSign™ Single Sign-On (SSO) throughout its management center, hospitals and clinics.

Clalit Health Services is the world’s second largest health organization and the largest civil organization in Israel, with 32,000 employees.  Imprivata OneSign SSO will enable users to authenticate to the corporate network just once and will automatically take care of all subsequent logons to different applications, including Web, Win32 and legacy applications.

According to Clalit CIO Yechie Gepner, Imprivata OneSign SSO will help Clalit improve security while reducing the number of help desk calls and time spent by its users on password issues.

“The single sign-on system will increase Clalit’s data security while improving user productivity and ease-of-use,” said Gepner. “User attention to data security is very important to us and we invest great efforts in fostering this kind of awareness. Therefore, we see great value in data security systems that simplify users’ work and improve their experience.”
