Imprivata®, Inc., the converged identity and access management appliance company, announced that it recently held its annual iPartner Forum, hosting more than 70 resellers and technology partners with end-user presentations given by customers includingpartner ING Bank, Bridgestone Europe, BJC Healthcare, Coface and Tayside Fire and Rescue. Imprivatas Partner Day 2007 covered all aspects of converged identity and access management trends, strategies and technologies.

Security issues transcend organizations of all sizes, and were finding that companies today seek a converged identity and access management strategy to protect their personnel, digital assets and infrastructure, said Omar Hussain, president and CEO of Imprivata. Were proud to host a two-day event that shares the tools, experiences and intelligence for partners to capitalize on the market opportunity while helping customers achieve their corporate security objectives.

The conference consisted of more than 15 sessions addressing physical-logical security convergence trends and technologies, single sign-on best practices and strong authentication case studies and panels. Sessions included:

  • The Future of OneSign: an inside look at whats to come from Imprivata
  • Lessons from the Field: Physical Logical, a panel of physical security experts discussing the market for coordinated IT and physical security solutions and the benefits OneSign Physical/Logical offers to the market. Panelists included partners SURV, Honeywell and JC Hanlon
  • Lessons from the Field: a customer panel moderated by Sally Hudson, research director, security products and services, IDC
